A sledgehammer is a hand–held percussion instrument designed to perform heavy work that requires significant effort. It consists of two main parts: the head and the handle. The head of the sledgehammer is a massive metal striker.

The forged striker made of durable carbon steel has high strength and durability, which makes it an ideal tool for use in high-load conditions.  The polished ash wood gives the instrument an aesthetic appearance and provides ease of use due to the smoothness of the surface. In addition, ash is known for its resistance to cracks and defects, which guarantees a long service life of the handle.
